Interaction Between 21st Century Mammals

How does the interaction between people change when a camera intervenes a moment, conversation, or relationship? These are some of the questions explored throughout this project. A homemade camera that has two lenses (one on the front and the other on the back) and 8x10 film inserted in the middle documents the changes and movements that occur when a camera is placed between two entities. The textured gelatin silver prints of the recorded interaction challenge the viewer to examine how people present themselves to, for, and with each other, and reflect upon their own social habits and actions.
